For adult cochlear implant recipients, by invitation only.

This 2 day course aims to help you to develop the skills and confidence to handle difficult listening situations.

The purpose of the course is to help you to identify why communication is difficult in some instances and to explore ways to manage these situations more effectively.

You will be encouraged to identify any problems you may have in particular communication settings and to recognise how this is affecting you. You will be invited to explore ways of getting around some of these difficulties and to practise ways of communicating effectively with others.
