Last But Not Least

Wednesday 9th May 10.00 – 15.30

YAIS offers a practical course for parents / carers of children who have had cochlear implants for approximately 3 years.

Although children’s language skills generally develop very well with cochlear implants, current research indicates gaps within some children’s higher level language skills.

This course aims to provide information and activities for parents to develop their child’s higher level language skills. These skills are important for children to fully understand and express themselves in a variety of situations and to reach their potential academically.

The above course can be offered in conjunction with the local SLT / ToD service on request.
